SECOND is a 9,000-square-foot event venue on the second floor of Hotel Eventi in Manhattan, spanning a full city block between the Chelsea and NoMad neighborhoods. The space is owned and operated by Chef Laurent Tourondel and Laurent Tourondel Hospitality Group, which means food and beverage is handled in-house at a restaurant level, from passed canapés and plated dinners to custom craft cocktail programs built around seasonal, customizable menus. The venue is designed for flexibility. Seven distinct room configurations allow it to host everything from a 20-person VIP dinner to a full-floor standing reception, with individual rooms available on their own or as part of a complete buyout. The main spaces include the expansive Great Room, a glass-enclosed Terrace with a retractable roof, an intimate Boardroom, and a speakeasy-style Hidden Bar tucked below the main floor. Throughout, the aesthetic blends warm industrial elements—exposed brick, concrete floors—with lush indoor greenery and modern finishes. For event planners, the hotel connection is a practical advantage: room blocks and additional hotel event spaces are accessible for multi-day programs, a partnered parking garage sits in the building on 30th Street, and the venue is fully handicap accessible with elevator access and ADA-compliant restrooms. A 30-foot digital billboard in the adjoining plaza can be used for custom event branding and interactive media, which makes the venue a strong fit for brand activations and launches in addition to weddings, galas, and corporate events.
