Little More' Brings Botanical-Inspired Cocktails and A Library-Style Bar to Tribeca

Botanical-Inspired Cocktails and Library-Style Bar Come to Tribeca
The name reflects our philosophy,\" explains Watman. \"It's about having a little more to drink, a little more fun, a little more time with your friends.\" This ethos extends to the menu, cleverly divided into \"Little,\" \"More,\" and \"Most\" sections. Small bites like mini crab cakes and bruschetta populate the \"Little\" section, while heartier fare takes center stage in \"Most\" – including standout dishes like their vertical spiral lasagna and an inventive birria ramen featuring tender beef and a rich broth. The French dip sandwich, elevated with horseradish cream and Gruyere cheese, promises to become a quick favorite.

In a space where towering shelves of spirits stretch 16 feet high and botanical murals wind their way across the walls, Tribeca's newest destination bar promises something unexpected with every visit. Little More, opening November 14th at 111 Reade Street, lives up to its name – offering guests a little more of everything they love about New York nightlife. The 45-foot marble bar serves as the centerpiece of this ambitious project from veteran restaurateur Aron Watman, known for popular spots like The Folly and The Brooklyneer. While the bar's library-style gantry houses hundreds of spirits from around the world, it's the botanical theme that truly sets the space apart. Drawing inspiration from the Garden of Eden, the venue features striking snake murals and an elaborate botanical wall showcasing medicinal herbs and flora.

Signature drinks include the Pomaretto Sour, featuring apple brandy and dry almond Adriatico, and the refreshing Gino Spritz with house-made cucumber tincture. The Hi Melon! combines Toki whiskey with fresh honeydew and Midori for a bright, fruit-forward experience. Located in the former Ward 3 space between West Broadway and Church Street, Little More maintains the bones of its predecessor while completely reimagining the interior. The custom-designed space, featuring full AV capabilities and a giant projector screen, can accommodate up to 200 guests for private events – from corporate gatherings to birthday celebrations.
Operating from noon to midnight on weekdays and until 2 AM on weekends, Little More plans to eventually expand into weekend brunch service. The upstairs space's versatility makes it equally suited for watching sports events or hosting intimate gatherings. There is also an interesting yet-to-be announced secret downstairs. While Watman also owns The Folly, he emphasizes that Little More offers its own distinct experience. \"If you enjoy The Folly, you'll appreciate Little More, but it's entirely its own space with its own identity,\" he notes. The venue maintains the same high standards while charting new territory with its botanical theme and library-inspired design. Little More opens its doors with a grand opening party from 8-10 PM on November 14th, 2024
